Here's how it started......
At the end of last year 2019, after I (Alanna) was told I was in remission from my breast cancer, I wanted to do something new and exciting with my daughter Faith. Faith was effected very emotionally during my sickness and I wanted to build her confidence back, show her she’s strong and and that there is a whole world out there! Thoughts of speaking out, kindness, being strong and empowered, and just being you, were key thoughts that kept coming to mind, and I knew I wanted to create something that focused on these thoughts. Through a lot of brainstorming, I came up with an idea to create a clothing line that would empower, express, thrive and influence. I wanted Faith to know the feeling of empowerment and show her that there is nothing she can’t do, try accomplish or be, even if it does end up not working out. I wanted to cheer her on during setbacks and remind her part of being strong is sticking with it and committing. To build her confidence that comes from knowing win or lose. Faith was super excited and wanted to bring one of her best friends in to join us. We are truly grateful that our friends and neighbours Goretti Fordyce and her daughter Breanna joined, and now as two mom and daughter duos we created Life + Love Labels.

Hi there! My name is Faith (@faith.deforest ), and I am one of the Co-owners of Life + Love Labels. Let me tell you a little about me. I am the 16 year old daughter of one of the Co-owners of this company, and one of The Pink Dress Society Founders, @alannariley . I love working with my mom on all her ventures and events as I love to give and help in the community. I am super excited to be in business with one of my best friends @breanna_4dice and her mom @goretti_4dyce to empower, express and influence people across Canada. On top of this, I have started to look into modelling and am very excited to have @misslynn__001 as my mentor. Along with my love for modelling, dance and music, i also enjoy baseball and basketball. When I get older I am looking into Forensic Science or Law. And last but not least, I love animals and have three French bulldogs, Griffen, Angel and Piper.

Hi, I’m Goretti one of the Co-owners of Life + Love Labels. Let me tell you a little about me. I have two teenagers that I’m incredibly proud of and a wonderful husband that supports my dreams. I enjoy fitness and traveling. My favourite place in the world is Sao Miguel, Açores, where both my parents were born. My dream is to buy a little vacation home there someday.
Purple and proud! Western University is my alma mater where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I’m also a full time Contracts Officer at the University and a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) through the Project Management Institute. I’m always looking to learn and take on new challenges. I’m very excited to be part of Life + Love Labels with my business partners, Alanna, Faith and my daughter Breanna. Hi I’m Breanna one of the Co-owners of Life + Love Labels.
I’m a 16 year old student that loves building things, sewing, painting, fitness classes, gaming and atving. I enjoy looking for ways to give back to the community and help others. I love spending time with my friends, family and pets.
My future goal is to study business and psychology so that I can some day own my own practice.
I’ve always had a passion for business; from making and selling slime, scrunchies and now Life + Love Labels.
I’m so excited about growing this business into a success along side my mom Goretti , best friend Faith and my best friend’s mom Alanna. Thank you for your support ❤️
